Island Stay Inc. ("Island Stay", "we", "us") provides an online distribution, booking, channel management, and payment collection platform connecting accommodation hosts, dining venues, and experience operators ("Partner", "you") with guests visiting the Channel Islands.
There is no upfront subscription fee to list inventory on Island Stay. For every confirmed and completed reservation processed through the Island Stay platform, Island Stay retains a standard platform commission of 15% of the gross booking subtotal (inclusive of payment gateway processing fees). The remaining 85% net Partner Payout is remitted directly to your designated settlement account.
Payouts are initiated automatically according to your selected schedule (Daily, Weekly on Mondays, Bi-Weekly, or Monthly) for confirmed stays via SumUp, PayPal, or BACS/Faster Payments to your verified UK or Channel Islands bank account. Partners are responsible for ensuring accurate sort code, account number, or merchant credentials in the Settings > Payments panel.
Partners must maintain accurate availability and nightly rack rates across all listed rooms, properties, or experiences. Where two-way Channel Manager (SiteMinder, RateTiger) or iCal synchronization is enabled, you authorize Island Stay to poll your external calendar feeds and import blocked dates to prevent double-bookings. In the event of an overbooking caused by Partner negligence, the Partner is responsible for relocating the guest to equivalent or superior accommodation at no extra cost to the guest.
Each listing is governed by the cancellation policy selected by the Partner (Flexible 24h, Moderate 5-day, or Strict 14-day). When a guest cancels within the permitted free-cancellation window, a full refund is issued automatically and no commission is charged. If a Partner declines or cancels a confirmed booking without valid force majeure cause, Island Stay reserves the right to withhold payout or suspend the listing.
You warrant that your property or business holds all required visitor accommodation permits, fire safety certificates, public liability insurance, and parish/states registrations required under the laws of the Bailiwick of Guernsey or the Bailiwick of Jersey.
